Jib Arm, Steadi-tracker, and Miscellaneous Services
There are many ways to move a camera. Often a locked off shot is the best way to go about it. Other times, it's interesting to see the camera move gently during a scene. Sometimes, radical movement is appropriate. In short, there are many ways to "block" a shot. The collaboration between the director, the lighting director and the camera operator generally dictates the movement of the camera. Often times, and especially in low budget and DV situations, these three positions are one in the same person. There are a variety of tools and toys that a cameraperson can use to make a shot more interesting or even captivating.
vOID Production Services offers a few of these toys.

a) The jib arm is a great device, and used in a variety of ways. Many will see an opening of a film begin with a "crane down" and the end of a film with a "crane up". It is useful in motion as well as "locked off" to take advantage of it's vantage point. The vOID jib arm, or crane comes with an operator, a remote zoom control, and a on-board monitor.

b) The steadi-tracker, more commonly known as a "steadi-cam" is a great device for any and all hand-held shots. It is equally balanced in every direction, and allows one to make shots that are otherwise not possible. The steadi-tracker is often used when following someone up or down a flight of stairs, or running, or as a spinning POV. It is also used in place of a dolly, so to "track" smoothly during a shot. There are countless ways to take advantage of this simple device, but the undetectable shots will gain a lot of attention.

c) The miscellaneous items include specialty camera "rigs". This is when you want to mount a camera on a bicycle, or a skateboard, or a car, or motorcycle, and beyond. It's a "how did they do that" kind of item that only vOID Production Services provides.
